Family Planning
The Family Planning Program Provides comprehensive reproductive health services, including contraception managment, to teens and women of childbearing age. Confidential services include:

  • Routine GYN Examination
  • Health education
  • Screening and testing for sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV
  • Screening and testing for cervical cancer (pap smear)
  • Pre-conceptual counseling; pregnancy preparedness
  • Contraceptive education; various methods of birth control are available
  • Pregnancy testing, counseling, and resource referral
  • Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
  • Multivitamin/prenatal vitamin dispensing
  • Interviews with a nutritionist, behavioral health specialist, smoking cessation counselor, and Medicaid eligibility worker are included within the reproductive health program
  • Community resource referral
  • Colposcopy services for the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal pap smears

Family Planning services are by appointment only; call 443-523-1740.

Walk-in pregnancy testing is available on Tuesday. For more information call 443-523-1740.

Fees for services are based on a sliding fee scale according to income; some health insurance plans are accepted.

Prenatal/Post Partum Home Visiting
Provides home visiting and case management to at risk pregnant/post partum women who qualify for Medical Assistance. The program focuses on identifying and addressing medical, nutrition and psychosocial factors in order to improve maternal health and birth outcomes.
