Colposcopy
Colposcopy services are available upon clinician referral. Services are delivered by a Board Certified Gynecologist and include evaluation, biopsy, treatment, and/or referral for extensive procedures. Onsite topical treatment and cryotherapy are available. Clinic is once a month by appointment only.
Family Planning
The Family Planning Program offers gynecological care to females of childbearing age. Services include: annual physical exams inclusive of a pap smear, clinic breast exam, laboratory work, screening for various sexually transmitted diseases, contraception, emergency contraceptive pill (ECP), and patient education. Clinics are offered on Tuesdays unless the building is closed for a holiday. Appointments are necessary. Nurse counseling is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pregnancy Testing
Pregnancy testing is available on Thursday mornings with options counseling provided. Referrals are made according to patient request. Assistance is provided in obtaining appointments/enrollment into other health department clinics as requested.
Prenatal/Post Partum Healthy Start Program
Provides home visiting and case management to at risk pregnant/post partum women who qualify for Medical Assistance. The program focuses on identifying and addressing medical, nutrition and psychosocial factors in order to improve maternal health and birth outcomes.
