Immunization Outreach
Provides community education relating to childhood immunizations and outreach, to educate parents of children who are in need of vaccinations.
Adult Immunization
Tetanus, MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal, Rabies pre-exposure, and Meningoccal vaccines are provided year round. Influenza vaccine is offered during flu season. The fee varies according to the cost of the vaccine. Appointments are encouraged.
Flu Vaccinations:
2010-2011 Seasonal Influenza (Flu)
Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine during the 2010-2011 season. CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted for "universal" flu vaccination in the US to expand protection against the flu to more people. This season's vaccine will protect against the 2009 H1N1 pandemic virus and 2 other flu viruses.
2010-2011 Flu Clinic schedule will be posted in September.
As always, remember hand washing and covering your cough are important prevention measures.
